by Elizabeth Howard

Blue plastic comb
Rosemary Spray
Bother the louse
And its tedium.
Glass-half full?
Long sessions

The world needs more journalists, philosophers, an The world needs more journalists, philosophers, and artists -- to uncover the truth, to question it, and then to give whatever the outcome is a space to occupy.

We are all just so much dust in the world -- another torso floating in the river of time. Is that what's happening now? With all the scrambling and scrabbling?

It's ok to let go, Kevin. Let go of the cliff you're hanging from and freefall, out into nothing.

Do you remember your dreams? Many years ago I read Do you remember your dreams? Many years ago I read you could train yourself to recall your dreams— and it worked.
.
I reflected on my dream journaling this morning as I listened to the @bychorus sing “Its Motion Keeps” an original composition about time written by @carolineadelaideshaw.

There is so much beauty and art in the world and not nearly enough time to consume it. Why bother with watching the antics of our Congress when you can explore such wild wondrous rabbit holes?

Love poems are so intensely written. This one is no different. How one loses oneself in the life of another when they are together.

But love has so many forms— I began to imagine it like snow to the Inuit.

Not everyone’s wild dreams look the same right? Not everyone’s wild dreams look the same right?

I’m starting the @theisolationjournals New Year Journaling Challenge as of today. I’ll be doing it mostly analog, handwritten on paper.
.
Analog is one of my words for the year— more physical connection, more human touch, more nature, more feet on the earth.

Oh, and of course, more poetry!
